Congratulations to Adullam Homes on achieving IiE Re-accreditation

Founded in 1973, Adullam Homes is a national organisation supporting approximately 1,000 people every day making the organisation one of the largest support providers in the country.

Operating from the Midlands through Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester to Bury in the North West.

Adullam is a Supported Housing and Support Services organisation. They provide homes and support in a variety of accommodation settings including hostels, apartments and houses for some of the most vulnerable and excluded members of society today.

Adullam pride themselves on their forward thinking strategy always looking at new ways to provide their services.  They have recently established an innovative Social enterprise model in order to create employment and training opportunities for their residents and service users.

Adullam have reaped benefits from the IiE both internally and externally.  Internally, they have recognised and learnt from both good practices and the not so good.  Improving in areas where they feel improvement can benefit the way the organisation works and celebrating areas where they have already shown that they are at the forefront of delivery.

Externally, they have shown that they are willing to invest in excellent practices which have helped them to improve their market presence and win new business.

Trevor Palfreyman, chief executive officer of Adullam Homes commented: “The IiE Standard helps to discover whereabouts on a journey the organisation is. It helps to highlight the areas where the organisation is already functioning at a high level, and identifies areas where improvements can be made.”

“Without having well-established criteria to measure against, it is easy to fall into the trap of concentrating on areas which stand out whilst not paying enough attention to the details that are not so ‘high profile’.”

Mr Palfreyman continued: “To Adullam, being accredited as an Investor in Excellence demonstrates to our staff, our residents, our service users, and keenly, our corporate partners and investors that Adullam is a professional and innovative organisation.  It shows we keep up with the times and can demonstrate that we are interested in providing the highest level of service within a highly competitive sector.”

Congratulations once again to Adullam Homes on achieving their IiE Re-accreditation.
