“Achieving the IiE Standard has been a seal of approval of the way we work at Optima”

Optima Community Association was formed in 1999 as a stock transfer from Birmingham City Council.

The organisation prides itself on high levels of customer satisfaction, quality partnerships, homes and neighbourhoods. Since 1999 Optima has built and improved more than 2,000 homes across 6 estates.

Optima is in the business of providing affordable homes for people on a low income and those unable to buy a home outright in the open market. Optima strongly believe in improving and supporting communities economically and socially.

Dawn Abigail, HR Manager at Optima commented “IiE has provided us with in depth advice of how we can develop Optima as a high quality organisation. The IiE Standard has given us the opportunity to benchmark our processes against other leading companies.

“All organisations need to review and re-assess how they operate if they are to maintain and improve their place in the market.  The IiE Standard has provided a formal framework for excellence that allows us to do just that.

“Achieving the IiE Standard has been a seal of approval of the way we work at Optima: it validates the effort our staff put in to continuously improving our processes and means they can take pride in working for an excellent organisation.”
