Fortec Distribution Network has been shortlisted for an award at this year’s Motor Transport Awards taking place on June 13th at Grosvenor House London.
After formally unveiling its revised mission “Success through Excellence”, Fortec quickly committed to becoming an Investor in Excellence and gaining formal recognition against the Standard.
The Investors in Excellence Standard is a unique framework for improvement and certification focusing on what matters most to an organisation. The Standard is used by many organisations in both the private and public sectors spanning a wide range of industries.
Covering all performance areas, the framework guides improved achievements through effective and efficient leadership, resourcing and delivery.
For Fortec, the focus on development of strong leadeship was a key aspect of the Standard and the ethos of excellence filters down throughout the 72 members of the network.
Fortec has been shortlisted for the “Network of the Year” award with over 50 of the transport industry’s leading figures judging this year’s awards entries, selecting only the very best contenders.
