We are delighted to announce that to Derbyshire Community Health Services (DCHS) has achieved the Investors in Excellence Standard.

Formed in 2006, DCHS brings together community services from six predecessor Primary Care Trusts (PCT), and is the main community services provider for people in Derbyshire. DCHS employs over 5,000 staff with an annual income of approximately £148m making it one of the largest PCT provider organisations in the country.
Since its establishment in 2006, DCHS have worked with patients, local communities and our staff to develop a clear purpose and vision including providing personalised and safe health services that enrich the lives of local people and communities.
The team at DCHS have benefitted from the organised and systematic approach to understanding our core business areas and the need for evidencing excellence in these areas.
Mrs Allen continued “The Investors in Excellence Standard has assisted the organisation to focus on continuous service improvement in the business areas and functions that will ensure we can deliver our vision and values and continue to be the preferred provider of community health services to the population of Derbyshire and surrounding areas.”
