Congratulations to G4S Children’s Services on achieving the IiE Standard

G4S Care & Justice Services (UK) is a pioneering provider of critical services and employs almost 8,000 people to deliver a wide range of services to central and local governments and their agencies/regulatory bodies.

Its range of services includes:  adult and youth custody and rehabilitation; children’s services; court services; inter-prison transportation; electronic monitoring; immigration detention and escorting; and police support services.

G4S Children’s Services is an integral part of G4S Care and Justice Services (UK) Limited. G4S Children’s Services provide critical solutions for vulnerable young people between the ages of 12 and 17 years old and that typically present with significant behavioural and emotional difficulties.

G4S Children’s Services provide a critical interface between public sector requirements and private sector service provisions. From the development of Secure Training Centres providing services to meet the needs of a transient and demanding Criminal Justice System, to the provision of Children’s Homes to assist Local Authorities in looking after some of the most difficult to place young people.

The service is dedicated to providing innovative and effective solutions to issues associated with offending and disaffected youth, promoting positive and brighter futures for both service users and employees, and delighting customers with exceptional and recognised services.

Christine Wood, Director of Policy & Performance, commented: “G4S Children’s Services has benefited enormously from working with Investors in Excellence and utilising the IiE Standard. Within the company G4S Children’s Services use many different internal management tools to monitor, measure and audit customer satisfaction. However, working within the IiE Standard framework has provided a more holistic view and an all-encompassing framework to measure and develop sustainable excellence.”

At the heart of G4S Children’s Services is a commitment to surpassing customer demands with innovative and coordinated solutions that continue to lead the way within the Care and Justice sectors whilst promoting and achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.

Christine continued, “External recognition from Investors in Excellence further demonstrates to our customer and stakeholders that G4S Children’s Services are committed to delivering an excellent service always striving for performance improvement and that we are serious about achieving and sustaining excellence.”

Congratulations once again to G4S Children’s’ Services on achieving the Investors in Excellence Standard.
