Dean Walton, sustainability director of Investors in Excellence certified organisation the Alumet Group has won a prestigious Institute of Directors award – national Director of the Year.
Dean has worked in the construction industry for 35 years, the last 19 with Alumet whose headquarters is at Southam in Warwickshire. Earlier this year he was named Environmental Director of the Year at the IoD’s regional awards, recognising his efforts to help turn Alumet into one of the most sustainable construction companies in the country.
The business specialises in external building facades and renewable technologies and has been an Investor in Excellence since 2011 as well as winner of Midlands Excellence special award for Innovation.
