IiE’s CEO defends ‘Excellence’ versus ‘Compliance’ in a debate at BCU on 21st November

Which is most appropriate for 21st Century business? Excellence or Compliance – let the battle commence

As part of the World Quality day events programme, IIE’s CEO, Ian Nield is defending ‘Excellence’ versus ‘Compliance’ in a debate being held at Birmingham City University on 21st November.


The debate is part of an exciting programme including a keynote delivery from Debbie Cadbury on ‘Death by Chocolate’. 

Debbie is an award-winning writer and BBC TV producer specialising in science and history. She produced the ground-breaking docudrama ‘Seven Wonders of the Industrial World’ and won an Emmy for her work on BBC Horizon. Debbie will look at the lessons quality professionals can learn from history.
